This website doesn't use http://john.ccac.rwth-aachen.de:8000/ftp/dilbert/garfield.txt as its source like other websites. The transcription database lasagna.cz uses was created from scratch.

  • No. Lasagna.cz has its own database so the fact that Garfield.com has changed doesn't affect this website at all.

• Hi, sometimes when I move to a new browser and set the website settings to load images, they don't load even though my server is up and the URL format is correct. I have tried resetting the cache, but it still doesn't load. When I right-click the image icon and select Open in New Tab, it opens the image, so the URL is correct. I've uploaded the screen recording to *****, and it would be nice if you could help.
  • Your browser is probably blocking the images because the link leads to http:// = insecure connection
    
    Possible workaround: change permissions for lasagna.cz and allow insecure content - location of the permissions/settings depends on your browser but here's the support page for Chrome
    
    Another place where you can debug this problem is in the Network tab of Developer tools - hit F12, go to the Network tab, hit Ctrl+F5, see what your browser says :)

• What happened to combined search and tags?
  • Google and other search engines got better in finding strips by description - probably because of improvements in machine learning. That makes maintaining tags and combined search unnecessary. Experiment with your query and Google will get you what you want.
• I'm trying to find the comic strips where Odie uses his tongue but I can't find the tags anywhere. What happened to them and what comics are they?
